My sister got wireless internet on her laptop when she bought and she doesn't pay a dime per month for it, but she said it came with her's, so that doesn't really leave me any answers. I'm just wondering what that is about, and how and where do I get this deal? Any answers?
The chances are she's using a Wi-Fi connection from a nearby access point. The access point owner is probably broadcasting the signal without securing the network, allowing access to anyone within range. This is actually illegal to do, in light of new federal legislation. Connected to the access point is fine, but the second you access files or folders that do not belong to you, in or out of the network, you're breaking the federal law.
